	I notice that the annual meeting of the AAAS is being used for
science-based propaganda as usual.  In this case it's propaganda in
favor of various forms of unilateral disarmament.

	I don't think we can lick 'em, so I advocate that we join them.
Namely, SE2 members who also belong to AAAS can organize a panel on
a suitable topic, e.g., a replay of the oil cutoff or a panel on how
to get nuclear moving again.  The mechanism is that anyone can propose
a panel to the organizers of the AAAS meeting and if they approve, he
can invite whom he likes.  Curiously, the panels where all the panelists
are on one side get just as much publicity as those where the opinions
cut across the spectrum.
